Nanatsu no Taizai Season 2 Episode 1 - Anime Review

Finally we have the first episode of the second season of the beloved anime series “Nanatsu no Taizai”.
It was nice to come back to Nanatsu no Taizai. This was a pretty slow and steady kind of first episode. Really the episode was just getting the story moving again. The episode did end though on a kind of ‘oh crap’ moment with a serious threat returning. Title said it all this week. The demon clan is back and they don’t look like pushovers. This is clearly something that Meliodas has tried to prevent from happening and now things will get serious. Can’t say at this point how powerful the demon clan is, but clearly they have a grudge against Meliodas. So we’re bound to get a good gauge of their threat level in a hurry. Not a great time of course for their revival as King and Ban have gone off on their own for a short time.

Everyone has things going on right now though. Gilthunder and company are just trying to process what the heck happened. From their point of view Dreyfus and Hendrickson were good people who looked out for them or scolded them when they got into trouble. It’s a hard thing to process them going from being such good people to such evil ones. Not a bad idea to look into the truth. All the more good reason to look into it when both are actually still alive. I’d say that Hendrickson looks a lot more confused than Dreyfus who seems to consider these demons his comrades.

This was a solid episode to get us back to the show. Get us reintroduced to everyone, show the revival of the demon clan, and get the characters moving. According to that prophecy trouble is coming for Camelot in a hurry. It wasn’t a mindblowing first episode, but it was what I expected. Things are only going to get better as this season builds up and gets going. I’m glad to have these characters back in motion. This is a strong contender for a show I can cover going into this season. Will see how everything else shakes out, but I’m at the very least going to enjoy watching.

Nanatsu no Taizai 2 is still going strong with this episode. This wasn’t my favourite episode so far, but it doesn’t mean it won’t get better in the future. I am definitely hyped to see the upcoming epic fight.

Unfortunately, this was just a “meh!” episode. I didn’t really care about the characters. However, I still enjoyed it for what they are. I didn’t bother to write a review for this episode. I quoted following review from theanimescrolls. If you like it, please click on the link below and give them some love. That aside, enjoy!

AnAnimeGeek

Finally, after one year of waiting we get another season of Attack on Titan. After the events of the second season, I am eager to see the continuation of this well-liked story. As promised, we will get some more on Captain Levi and the politics of a society behind walls. However, I hope we will not fall short on the savage action of a Human vs Titan battle.

9) Baki Hanma- Baki The Grappler:-

Baki proves himself a force to be reckoned with despite being the youngest one there. As he moves up the ranks, however, the competition gets harder. He then moves on to the real challenge - Shinogi Kosho, The Cord-Cutter, known for ripping out and severing people's nerves and muscle tendons.

8)Natsu Dragneel-Fairytail:-
he is a young boy who have been trained by a dragon called Igneel to use magic. he is a dragon slayer who have strength like a dragon. he needs fire to re energize'

7) Ichigo Kurosaki-Bleach:-
The oranged haired Shinigami has a broad, and sometimes confusing, set of powers that allow him to defeat even the most overpowered villians. His strength and swordsmanship allow him to take down all-powerful deities and reality-bending gods while he gains new powers from each set of enemy he defeats.

6)Naruto Uzumaki-Naruto:-
Naruto can go toe to toe with nearly any other character in anime. His ability to enter Sage Mode and his control over the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox grant him impossible strength and the ability to form massive monsters out of chakra.

Furthermore, his relationship to the other tailed beasts lets him wield every element of chakra and even combine them for greater devastation.

5)Isaac Natero-Hunter X Hunter:-
The former chairman of the Hunter Association, Isaac Netero is one of the strongest martial artists in anime. After subjecting himself to training that was supposed to end him, Netero gained incomprehensible speed and strength.

If those ever fail him, though, he is also able to summon a massive karate god that can destroy nearly anything and stop the most durable foes in their tracks.

4)Mob-MOB psycho 100:-
Kageyama Shigo, or more commonly known as Mob, is an ultra-powerful esper who can destroy anyone or thing with a simple thought. His powers are so intense that he has to shackle his emotions to keep them from running wild.

However, if he feels something too strongly or falls unconscious, his abilities come rushing to the surface and wields powers on par with large-scale natural disasters.

3) Zeno-Dragon Ball Super:-
Zeno is the ruler of every reality in Dragon Ball Super and he can both create and destroy all of existence in a single instance. The child-like god possesses absolute power and can erase anyone and thing on a whim. He doesn’t have any techniques or special moves, he is simply an all-powerful god that commands space and time with youthful abandon.

2)Escanor-Seven Deadly Sins:-Escanor's magical power which allows him to emit fire hotter than the Purgatory flames. The fire flows out of his body and it's stored in his Sacred Treasure which he can use to release them once it's gathered enough power.

Cruel Sun: Escanor creates a ball of energy and throws it at his opponent.
Pride Flare: Escanor uses this to detonate Cruel Sun, resulting in a big explosion that was hot enough to melt an entire lake in a blink of an eye.

1) Saitama-One Punch Man:-
Saitama from One Punch Man is the strongest character in anime. One Punch Man is different from most other combat anime, in that the protagonist is already the strongest person around, rather than striving to reach that goal. After three years of rigorous training, he can withstand any blow and defeat any enemy with a single serious strike.

However, this unbeatable strength leaves Sitama depressed, and the series explores the emptiness that follows achieving a lifelong goal. Saitama is the most powerful character in anime because the entire point the character is that the pursuit of strength or one’s goal is more fulfilling than holding such a position.

10)Aizen Sosuke-Bleach:-
We could never forget the original baddie from one of the most popular anime series out there. Many would say that his intellect was his most fearsome trait, but he had a number of insane powers to accompany it.

He was incredibly fast thanks to his Shunpo skills and, had intense spiritual power and was a Kido master. Besides all of that, his Zanpakutō, the Kyoka Suigetsu, was also so crazy in its respective abilities, usually controlling the five senses.

9)Zeref Dragneel-Fairytail:-
As quiet as Zeref always seemed, he truly had some awesome, raw power and abilities -- it was no wonder it took so long to defeat him in the Fairy Tail series.

The best part about him as a villain was that once we were able to see his backstory, we actually felt pity and sadness for him. He utilizes the Black Arts and his magic is so powerful that he cannot consciously control it, which makes fighting him pretty difficult on both ends.

8)Madara Uchiha-Naruto:-
The stuff of legends, literally, Madara Uchiha was the leader of the Uchiha clan in Naruto. Not only has he “died” a couple of times, his chakra and physical powers have been over the moon. He was born with intense chakra that was considered bad in part because it was Indra’s chakra.

This, however, allows him to continue fighting for long periods of time without ever tiring.

Before his final death, he was considered relatively indestructible. This paired with some of his other abilities made him very memorable and perhaps one of the most powerful antagonists from the series.

7)All For One-My Hero Acedemia:-
If you’ve been keeping up with the current anime hits, My Hero Academia should be at the top of your list. Recently, we were shown the mastermind behind the League of Villains and formerly known as one of the most powerful villains in all of Japan.

His power is almost the opposite of All Might’s because as the hero’s quirk is one that has been passed down with gained abilities, All For One’s powers are actually stolen quirks that are made his own, meaning he could take the power of anyone greater than himself.

6)Marshall D.Teach-One Piece:-
The leader of the Blackbeard pirates and also known as Marshall D. Teach, Blackbeard was one of the most feared pirates of the sea. Having a whole history behind him on a sea full of dangerous pirates, there is one thing that makes him stand out from the rest.

He is the only character we’ve seen so far that has two different Devil Fruit powers.

He holds the power of the Dark Dark Fruit, which is considered the evilest of all as it control darkness itself, as well as the Tremor Tremor Fruit that allows the user to create earthquakes.

5)Boros-One Punch Man:-
Now, one might understandably be perplexed as to why Boros has made this list. After all, there's no antagonist in One Punch Man that can even hope to hold a candle to Saitama's vast power. However, these people tend to forget one crucial thing about Boros — he was actually able to bear the brunt of Saitama's destructive punch.

In fact, his power was actually so commendable that he forced Saitama to actually get serious for a second and land a Super Serious Punch — something that we'd never seen the series up to that point.

4)Father-Full Metal Alchemist:-
Power is a rather subjective thing that might differ across the course of different fictional worlds. However, there are very few powers that can rival that of a god's — something that Father from Fullmetal Alchemist managed to achieve.

Due to the sacrifices he makes near the end of the series, Father transcends and ends up defying the natural order itself. The steadfast laws of alchemy simply don't apply to him anymore, allowing him to do anything he wished without the fear of any repercussions.

3)Misogi Kumagawa-Medaka Box Abnormal:-
Most people might not even have heard the name of this person, but trust us when we tell you that Misogi is someone who should always be in the discussion when one talks about powerful anime antagonists. His psychotic nature is certainly a qualifier for his villainous nature, but that's not the main topic of discussion right now.

Discussing his powers is enough to make you realize why he deserves this spot on the list. Basically, Kumagawa's Minus is the power of All Fiction, which allows him to negate aspects of reality as he sees fit. This ability is so powerful that Misogi himself has admitted that he needs to control it properly to prevent any long-term ramifications.

2)Mereum-HUNTER X HUNTER:-
Yet another non-human villain with an amazing design, Mereum could certainly give Frieza a run for his money. So far, he’s been the strongest character in the series with an extremely high learning ability, despite his age.

He’s pretty much a broken character when it comes to his powers.

He has unlimited strength, speed, agility and has a crazy pain tolerance to the point of feeling nothing -- he literally pulled off his own arm with no reaction. That, paired with being a super genius, makes him one of the most dangerous villains in anime, period.

1)Beerus-Dragon Ball Super:-
here was no other being that could've topped this list. While one might argue that Beerus isn't really a villain at all, the fact of the matter is that his initial visit ended up rather poorly, leading to a possibility where he might've actually destroyed Earth and its inhabitants.

However, over time, we've also witnessed a softer side to Lord Beerus as well.

With the end of Dragon Ball Super as we know it, for now, it seems that a serious clash between Goku and Beerus will have to wait for later.

By
AnAnimeGeek

" He said they were the strongest and worst knight order in the kingdom, founded by the seven worst felons who had tattooed on their bodies the signs of seven beasts, and ten years ago they were accused of wanting to overthrow the kingdom. All of the Holy Knights of the country made an attack on them together, and so they scattered themselves in all the winds "
